bengkel · /ˈbəŋ.kəl/ · malay for workshop

Every project gets its own agent and its own brain.

Bengkel turns your VPS into a visual AI workshop. Hermes, Claude Code and Codex work on your machines, each project keeps its own memory, and you see everything you're building on one map.

Ask what you're working on. Tell it to work.

One chat runs all your projects. It reads each project's brain, picks the right agent and the right machine, then writes what happened back to memory.

what's on the bench

A workshop, not another chat window.

01 / bench

One agent per project

Each project gets its own dedicated agent and settings. Context never leaks from Pendekar into your side-project.

Memory in plain Markdown

context.md, decisions.md, log.md. Readable, git-able, Obsidian-friendly. Secret-scanned before every write.

Jobs go where they fit

VPS, home PC, GPU box over SSH. Needs RAM or a GPU? Bengkel routes it and shows memory, CPU and time per job.

Nothing ships without you

Every job runs in its own worktree on a branch, as an unprivileged user. Bengkel never pushes, deploys or releases on its own.

See everything you're building, at once.

Every bench, every note, every link between projects, drawn as one living map. Drag it, zoom it, click a node to open its brain.

the connector

A fixed core. Everything else swaps.

Bengkel doesn't replace your tools. It joins them. Add an agent, a machine or a notes app by writing one small adapter.

buatan malaysia

Named after the place things get fixed.

Every Malaysian town has a bengkel: a roller door, a radio playing, someone who knows exactly what's wrong with your engine. We wanted that for code: a garage where each project has its own mechanic and its own logbook, and you can see every bay at once.
